Rubber Seals for Dams
Dams are built for storage and diversion of water for generation of electric energy or for irrigation purposes. In concrete dams, water flow is regulated with the help of hydraulic gate.
Hevea Rubber Technologies Pvt. Ltd supplies rubber seals for the prevention of leaks through these closed gates. Our Rubber Seals are manufactured as per the guidelines laid in IS 11855: 2004
The basic polymer is either natural rubber or Styrene Butadiene Rubber or a blend of both these polymers, as per the instructions of the client. The seals are sometimes cladded with Teflon, mainly to reduce the frictional forces.

Hevea has more than 200 different dies for various rubber profiles. Our profiles are widely used in the construction, ship repairs and automotive industry. We have our own integrated die making facility.
